Producer, Writer, & Curriculum Specialist: Angela Olson is a documentary producer, writer, and editor for Haunted State (2020, Amazon Prime Video) and Roller Life (2016, Amazon Prime Video). Olson is also a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (Chicago/Midwest chapter). She is a passionate advocate for social justice, blending a rich background in education, film production, and curriculum development to create impactful change. Olson has been an educator for over 15 years and has taught grades K-12 as well as at the college level. She holds a BS in Secondary Education and an MS in Curriculum and Instruction and Linguistics. Her social justice-based American Literature curriculum, developed in partnership with the National Writing Project, has been implemented in public high schools across the country.
